Experienced in data science and machine learning using Python in various industries.
I studied Sociology with Statistics & Data Science at Yale College (DC '22'!) My senior thesis was an NLP study, studying cultural framing of breast cancer and its relation to patient conceptions of their illness. Spring 2021, I took the semester off to attend a Data Science & Machine Learning Immersive through Metis.
I currently work in the music industry in a data role. I've also had several independent and formal internship/fellowship data experiences in various industries, including health/medicine, physics/astronomy, and the nonprofit sector.
I'm originally from Greenville, SC! In my freetime, some of my favorite hobbies are playing guitar, drawing, and hiking! I also have a black belt in Okinawan Shotokan Karate. I still practice and spar from time to time when I'm home with my dojo in South Carolina :).
